You can pursue the MBA program on-campus, completely online, or as a combination of two delivery methods. It takes just one admissions application, and you can switch from on-campus to online without a separate application! Requirements and structure of the program are the same regardless of on-campus or online delivery. There is no residency requirement. The degree is completely self-contained, requiring no prerequisite business experience or course work.

Complete your MBA in as few as 11 classes! While the MBA is structured across 18 courses, many students qualify to waive some or all of the 7 Foundation courses. We would be happy to determine your specific program course requirements prior to admission. Only an advisor can determine your personal course waivers. Under this program, four of the 86 seats in the BSOM entering class are reserved four years in advance for outstanding students entering ECU as freshmen. All ECU Honors College applicants who are legal residents of North Carolina are given the chance to compete for the Early Assurance program, and a select group of interested applicants are interviewed by BSOM Admission Committee representatives as part of the selection process.

The BSOM contingent ranks all applicants after the interviews are completed, and positions in the Early Assurance program are offered accordingly. The MBA degree program requires between a minimum of 33 s. Some or all of the business foundation courses may be waived if equivalent recent work of sufficient depth has been completed at a high performance level.

Electives are divided into analytical and behavioral subgroups and each student is usually required to take at least one elective from each subgroup, although a student judged weak in one of the subgroups may be required to take all three electives from that subgroup. Upon approval by the director of graduate programs, certain level courses may be substituted for business electives.
