Sims 2-sims

Halfway through July people were able to add this entire collection for free on their accounts. After this promotion was over, people still occasionnally received the collection via the Origin helpdesk, when they could prove they had all or at least some of the original games. The CD patch wants me to insert the sims 2 CD 4 to install, please help me with that. NxL 9 points. Lexie 0 point. The patch and no CD downloads don't do anything. They both just say to "insert CD" and won't run. Anyone figure out what to do? I've installed the base game, inserted the keycode on the back, and installed the patch. Hey fellow simmers! I have been playing sims since it was just sims so when I found this I just couldn't stop smiling! Then I tried to download Seriously you guys rock! Couldn't Stop smiling yesterday and already half way through adding the expansion packs.

It really holds up! If you try to run the game it will have an error and request that you enter CD. Run Patch and you are ready to play To play simply go to "All Apps" or wherever you would find your programs - may be called Program files - it is where you find your windows or start button. I was able to download one stuff pack before realizing this was how I was supposed to do it so I deleted all the EPs I had downloaded already.

I tried to copy the Patch for the base game into the Sims 2 folder but it said I didn't have enough memory. I have over 20 GB free on my PC. I was so excited to find Sims 2 for free as I only grew up playing Sims 3.

I was really hoping to play this game but atleast in my case the game is completely unplayable in the sense that it wont get past the loading screen.

How do i 2 points. It's installing as a DVD on its own with no space left to add a patch! While it has been surpassed why what would follow on from it. At the time The Sims 2 was a game that improved on its predecessor and all of its expansion packs in pretty much every way you could imagine.

There is a ton of stuff you can use in this game to make your dream home, new scenarios, jobs, neighborhoods and there is just a ton of stuff to keep your Sims and the others that are around busy. The visuals of the game are much improved from the first game. The only negative that I really have about the visuals is that sometimes the children and grandchildren can just look the same.

I do feel they could have done a bit more to make offspring look like they are related, but not at the expense of just all looking exactly the same. The soundtrack is what you would expect from a game in this series. I would not say that The Sims 2 has the greatest soundtrack I have ever listened too. However, they have made it very easy to add your own music to the game if you want so that is always an option. The overall sound effects of the game are great and when a Sim talks, freaks out, gets embarrassed, or anything like that it always makes me smile.

How do you go about creating a sequel to the biggest-selling PC game franchise of all time? A game that has single-handedly bucked the demographic of PC gaming, embracing the casual player while alienating the hardcore?

It's a tricky proposition, but there's little sign of panic at the Maxis office, half an hour outside San Francisco. With the walls adorned with artwork from Sim titles down the years employees beaver away in their individual cubes, emerging only to chow down on a quality selection of food and beverages. One of the things we're planning to address in The Sims 2 is to make a game that is strategically really deep and one that will appeal to the hardcore gamers.

And also graphically state-of-the-art, which The Sims never was. The feeling of immersion in The Sims 2 is much higher, it feels much more immersive than looking down on to little toy characters. That much is evident from a quick scan at this page, with the game boasting full 3D environments and intelligent lighting.
